According to the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Victor Babyemi, the suspect was toying with a loaded dane gun, that Mr Jonson, 45, left unattended with three children including the deceased, when the gun fired killing the diseased (yet-to-be identified).
The incident happened at about 9a.m. at Oko Oba Camp, Erinjiyan Road, Ilawe Ekiti.
The murder weapon has been recovered and four suspects including Johnson are now in custody undergoing interrogation.
Suspects would be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is complete.
