Three surrogate mothers who live on the same street and are all having babies for a gay couple - at the same time

Surrogates: Becky Harris (right), Bex Harris (centre) and Viktoria Ellis (top left) with their neighbour Jemma King (top right) and Bex's mother Karen (left) appeared on ITV's This Morning in July to talk about surrogacy. When they appeared on the show, Bex was already carrying Mr Harris and Mr Lee's baby, Viktoria was preparing to, and Becky was days away from giving birth to another couple's child

Victoria Ellis, also 32, is due in March

Surrogate No 1: Bex Harris, 32, used her own eggs and Daryl’s sperm, and is due to give birth in April

The three women fell pregnant within weeks of each other — meaning that Luke and Daryl are now expecting three babies by three different women within seven months.
Daryl, 41, is the biological father of two of them, while Luke, 50, is the biological father of the third.

They’ll be raised by two men, with no direct female influence, because their three different mothers have no intention of doing any mothering at all.
Instead, the trio — neighbours from the same street in Suffolk who decided to form a ‘surrogacy circle’ — will hand over the babies when they are born and walk away from their offspring, with just a nice expenses cheque to show for their act of ‘selflessness’.
What a story. It’s going to take quite some telling at school when the three children — nicknamed the ‘twiplets’ by their two fathers — try to explain their family history to their friends.
For now, Luke, a computer programmer, and Daryl, who describes himself as a medical professional, are busily converting one of the rooms of the semi-detached house they share in New Malden, Surrey, into a nursery, and decorating it with an elephant design. If they know the sex of any of the babies, they aren’t saying.
