30 Boko Haram Members Killed In Borno

Vanguard reports that the dreaded Boko Haram sect met with strong resistance from the vigilante youth, popularly called Civilian JTF as they planned on attacking on Gubio Local Government area of Borno State.

The youths from Gubio and Kateto according to sources were said to have been alerted after the sect armed with sophisticated weapons, Ak47 rifles, improvised explosive devices and petrol bombs were sighted in large numbers using Hilux vehicles and motorcycles near Kareto by some vigilant people.

The youths it was gathered mobilized immediately and challenged the terrorists which led to the killing of about 30 members of the sect.

There are also claims that about five of the Civilian JTF members sustained minor injuries with however no death has been reported in the fierce battle which lasted about three hours. 

Nice one. We need more news like this. The irrational killings have got to stop.
