Man Rescued By Police As 4 Fake Soldiers Try To Kidnap Him

Four men dressed as soldiers tried to force the civilian into their Mitsubishi car with registration number FST 597 CM. One of the suspects was said to have been threatening the victim with a knife.The civilian would not get inside telling the “army” representatives that he did not know them. Instead he asked them to take him to the nearest police station, which request he was denied.

The strange situation attracted the attention of passers-by, who stopped  the man from entering the car.Soon a police car appeared at the scene. Upon seeing the patrol team, the 3 men went on the run away abandoning their car. The policemen pursued the suspects but managed to catch only one of them and take him to the station. The interrogation is reportedly ongoing.

Scores of people remained at the scene after the incident discussing the situation even after the police had left.
