Immigration officers on ebola red alert

The Nigerian Immigration Service has placed its men at the nation’s various entry points on red alert following the death of a Liberian who was killed by the deadly Ebola disease in Lagos on Friday.

Mr Emeka Obua, said the immigration service personnel at the airports, seaports and land borders had been issued an advisory by the Ministry of Health, to watch out for anyone coming into the country with symptoms of the Ebola disease. Any visitor with Ebola disease symptoms would be quarantined and taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
